review
With Chicagoland-Vampires it now has another debut in the German book shelves made. For Cloe Neill grew up in the U.S. South, presented with fresh bitten the first novel of urban fantasy series that can be known ideas, strong characters and score quite a lot of femininity.
>> At first I wondered if it was my karma to be punished. I had always laughed at those fancy Vampire, and the cosmos had come up with a punishment that I look to one of them. Vampire. Predator. Initiator of one of the oldest vampire of the twelve houses of the United States. \u0026lt;\u0026lt;
Merit is a student, likes to wear jeans, does not like to be chic and despises vampires. For since revealed the bloodsuckers their existence in the world is not everything as it should be. The city has become uncertain and even the university, will be incurred before the Merit one night last. But Ethan Sullivan saves her life. A vampire. A feudal lord and soon Merits greatest, but seductive enemy.
"It is better for what one is hated, than for what it is to be loved" , Chloe Neill quoted at the beginning of her novel. A truth that the interested reader

. Merits designed for relationship with their parents to be as complicated as their friendship with her roommate is perfect. The author does this look deep in their own way and shows how dangerous can be powerful and wealthy. But this fact is already aware of Merit and one of the reasons why they are neither one nor the other dreamed of. Nevertheless, everything is different than planned. For Merit is eventually bitten by a vampire and just saved it from another. Something that you basically did not like it because its creator Ethan is now associated to the gratitude and loyalty required. Forced him to swear an oath and accept his authority, they challenge him to have to ask soon for themselves how they can lead their lives on. For Merit has completely different dreams, and preening as being undervalued. And therefore they think it in any way to fulfill in her expectations.
Chloe Neill returns with her first volume of this series is a nice debut. One that she adorned with a little love, a little friendship, a few tribulations, a half-baked subplot (murders are enlighten)
two men, and of course, has the merit would like to see at her side. One begs formally therefore, the other simply devours them with his eyes. Quickly to the reader from page to page is clear that the existing ideas now are nothing new really. Instead, the author has concentrated on known it with a little joke, but also a good deal of seriousness blended. And so it is that fresh bitten for a very easy to read and kept afloat, but also to the other now and then in a gentle manner is profound. Even so, some things can only return the reader shaking his head. How to buy it by the author, for example, simply does not like Ethan, she presents as an alleged tough guy. On the contrary. The four hundred year old vampire lord Cadogan is the house in its own way, just lovely, almost error-free. His aloofness from Cloe Neill is simply and obviously used to make him seem mysterious, which had only limited success. Nevertheless, it exerts a certain attraction to the reader and can conquer almost certainly many a woman's heart. Who at this point, however, hoping to read an erotic vampire novel, is wrong, because Chicagoland Vampires presents not exceedingly romantic and even passionate. This point is apparently time left and the reader is left ambiguous. First, one looks forward to read a somewhat moderate approach, on the other remains of this Book back but just by the absence of such delicacies behind many a wonderful novel. The next volumes will show whether Chloe Neill is right and can get us excited subsequently. Potential is clearly there. Because she writes entertaining and deceives it, at least in fresh

bitten over many a shortcoming.
Conclusion with fresh bitten Chloe Neill presents a rather mediocre series opener, which means but to convince his own way. Love and eroticism in this volume, a soft (unfortunately)
detailed introduction to the world of these Author, which it can not offer much new, but has wonderful stretches of time. We can look forward to the next volume
( Forbidden bites / Q. 3.11) and its trends!
