Madden 08 Edit Uniforms
today I have discovered a non-fiction, whose subject I would like to share with you and now is on my wish list. Jürgen Todenhöfer told in " kill Why, Zaid
? the story of a student who has decided against the war, finally, but nevertheless - is found between resistance struggles - a few years after its decision. Why and how he came to this, says the author as well as experience in Iraq.
reflected in the history of the young resistance fighter against Zaid, the story of a people for freedom and Would fight. Jürgen Todenhöfer met people who are fighting against the occupation forces and the terror of Al Qaeda. He met the 22-year-old Zaid, who has lost almost everything in this war, and like the majority of the Iraqi population has joined the resistance, and tells his harrowing story. The book comes in against the billion-dollar propaganda machine of the U.S. administration, which paints a distorted picture of the situation in Iraq. Jürgen Todenhöfer wants the truth a chance - and Justice for a tortured people.
Jürgen Todenhöfer, born 1940, is a manager of a European media company, 18 years was long member of parliament and spokesman for the opposition parties for development and arms control. He wrote the bestseller, "Andy and Marwa - two children and war," "Who weeps for Abdul and Tanaya?" And "Why do you kill, Zaid?" . With his book royalties, he built an orphanage in Afghanistan and a children's hospital in the Congo and funded an Israeli-Palestinian reconciliation project.
Love,
- Marie
